Brooke Einbender is an art scholar and practicing artist. While studying Fine Art and Entrepreneurship at Wake Forest University, Brooke was awarded the Presidential Scholarship for Visual Arts. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with a concentration in oil painting. As an undergraduate student, Brooke was selected to serve on the Student Union Art Acquisition Committee to purchase contemporary artworks on behalf of her University with an acquisition budget of $100,000. Brooke’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit led her to build an online art gallery to provide college student artists a singular platform to showcase and sell their artwork. Her professional experiences working in the art world are just as impressive as they are diverse.  Previously, Brooke has worked at gallery booths during art fairs, conducted curatorial work, and documented private collections. As Project Coordinator for New Mexico’s Department of Cultural Affairs, Brooke worked on the commissioning of high profile art installations for public spaces. Additionally, Brooke received a one-of-a-kind art education working as the Curatorial Assistant for a private art advisor, whose late husband was Chief curator and Director of the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art for over two decades.
