Helena developed an eye for art and design while majoring in the visual arts at Idyllwild Arts Academy. She received her B.A. in Art History and Economics from Mount Holyoke College, where she was also a research assistant to the chair of the Art History department, a museum docent, and a varsity rower. Since graduating in 2015, she has worked at top New York art advisory firms and major contemporary galleries, as well as in Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christie’s. Now curator for The Carrie Able Gallery in Brooklyn, her areas of special interest include art as it intersects with political, social, cultural, and ecological issues.
